I managed to rank this post “bill gates is on twitter” onto Google’s 3rd page within 10 mins I posted.
I guess my blog gets indexed pretty quickly these days. I’m also glad that I get to prove the theory that you really don’t need PR to rank these days.
Fresh content and good links is all it matters.

It’s sad that TechCrunch and Mashable got enough traffic that’s kindda hard to beat, but I still love to give credit to the original post.

Thanks for the link Jessy! That story got tons of traffic. Originally it broke on Digg and my PA found it minutes later.

Then I was the first to blog it. My screen shots of Bills Tweets have the lowest numbers and I was one of the first to re-Tweet Bills posts. Cool HuH?

Unfortunately, the tons of traffic went to TechCrunch and Mashable who borrowed it the news.
