Steve Jobs has just wrapped up his announcement of the 4th generation of the wildly popular iPhone on stage at Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco, California, along with countless other surprises.

The iPhone 4 features a new design relative to previous models and is identical to the model obtained by Gizmodo earlier this year.

The photo you see above is probably the iPhone 4G phone. Apple has kept extremely quiet about the iPhone 4G (no surprise there), but that hasn’t stopped people from finding out more about it. Gizmodo purportedly has pictures of a prototype of the iPhone 4G.

They claim that the iPhone 4G was found in a bar, and the person who found it sold it to them. We don’t know what price Gizmodo had to pay, but some blogs are saying that they had to pay $10,000 USD. Whatever they paid, it’s a small amount compared to the traffic they’re getting. With the almost 3 million pageviews their post has gotten, they have already earned a huge amount of money through ad revenue.

The following new features are added in iPhone 4G smartphone:

• Front-facing camera – Used for Video Chat
• Back camera – They’re saying it’s improved
• Micro-SIM – , as opposed to the standard SIM in the current iPhone
• Improved display
• Power, mute, and volume buttons are metallic

Jailbreak/Unlock iPhone 3.1.2 with blackra1n

1. First, Download blackra1n (Windows) to your computer.

Mac fans please click here

2. Open the program and Click the make it ra1n button, while connecting your iPhone.

3. You will see bunch of  codes popping up on your iPhone during the process, (Do NOT Panic!) It should only last for few seconds. Your iPhone will reboot once blackra1n has done it’s job and you should see the blackra1n icon on your phone.

4. Now, your phone has already been UNLOCKED!!! (thanks to the lasted update from geohot.) Open the blackra1n app and install your preferred application from the blackra1n app. You have the option of choosing Cydia or Rock.

For people that don’t know what Cydia is, it simply is a 3rd party app you use when you jailbreak your phone. (do a little Google search, it’ll tell you all about it.) Rock is very similar to Cydia, but in a lighter and faster version. You can choose to install either one, they pretty much work the same.

5. Last but not the least, Enjoy your “new born” iPhone, and use it with any Sim card you wish.  No more AT&T. woohoo~~~

Now you can have “satellite internet” connection anywhere and everywhere you bring your laptop to with the help of a jailbroken iPhone.

First access Cydia ->Search->download PdaNet

Then create an ad hoc connection from your laptop (which creates a temporary network for sharing internet connection or files)  from your laptop .

This can be done under control Panel->Network and Sharing->Setup a connection or Network, the you will see the option to create an adhoc connection.

Choose a network name and security password. Name can be anything, (ex: iphone)

Now connect your laptop to adhoc “iphone”.

Last, open PdaNet we just downloaded and also connect to “iphone”

Wala…. you’re connected!
